People contact Samaritans for many reasons: relationship problems, health worries, financial problems, stress at work, loneliness and bereavement.

In common with branches throughout the UK and Ireland, Belfast branch relies on the support of the public to enable us to provide our services throughout the year. Although all of our support services are provided by unpaid volunteers it still costs a substantial amount of money to maintain our services and reach out to the Belfast community.

If you are able, please support us today.

There are three easy ways to donate money to Samaritans:

Donate

One off and regular donations can be made directly to the branch at the address below.

Also remember that if you are a UK taxpayer we can recover the tax on your donation via Gift Aid at no extra cost to you - all you need to do is fill in a very simple form and we will do the rest!

Leave a legacy

Over the years we have received much needed support when people have remembered us in their will. We would be happy to advise on how you can support us in this way.

Payroll giving

Many employers operate Give As You Earn schemes which are a tax efficient way of donating money directly from your pre-tax salary. An advantage of this method is that some employers also provide top-up donations to augment the donation. More information can be supplied on request.
